DNA Repository

The Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) maintains a DNA repository with blood samples from AKC breeds. We highly encourage you to submit a sample from your Griffon. Of course samples from diseased dogs are valuable, but DNA from healthy dogs is needed just as much in research. Sources of DNA samples are submitted with a short summary of the dog’s health, but all samples are entirely anonymous, even to researchers.
